About the Artist

Erica’s passion for art, deeply rooted in her love for nature, has blossomed into a vibrant career. Starting with painting trees and flowers on the walls of her first home, she quickly gained recognition from friends who wanted similar transformations for their children's rooms. This sparked the creation of her first business, Break-Away, where she specialized in murals and decorative painting.

Now, as the owner of Lynnie’s Nest, Erica not only teaches painting classes, guiding her students through step-by-step instructions to create beautiful artworks, but also runs a floral and art studio. Lynnie’s Nest offers fresh flower arrangements, home goods, and art classes, allowing her to work daily with both flowers and paint, further intertwining her two passions.

Erica is committed to her growth as an artist, continuing her education at Seward County Community College and Fort Hays State University, where she has taken several art courses to hone her skills. Through her work, she hopes to inspire others to appreciate the beauty of nature and express themselves creatively.
